Richmond Parliamentarians Attend 60th Annual Virginia State Association of Parliamentarians Conference

RicRichmond Parliamentarians Leadershiphmond parliamentarians gathered with parliamentarians from across the commonwealth for a successful conference at the Marriott Short Pump the first weekend in May.  President Cynthia Mayo, PRP, and Secretary Rhiannon Liker are shown here with Representative-At-Large Darlene Allen, PRP, from Northern Virginia.  Richmond parliamentarians were well represented at the state conference.  The theme was “Parliamentary Procedure: Gaining the Edge”.  Participants learned how to look up facts in Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised 11th edition.  They also enjoyed jazz played by a local college band.
